We’ve collaborated with some of your favorite restaurants on a new dining experience: The Broadsheet Table. It’s an opportunity to dine like an industry insider, and it’s available to book exclusively through Broadsheet Access, our affordable new membership program starting at $ 6.50 per month.
Here’s how it works. Across town there are a limited number of tables reserved and waiting for you. Choose when and where you’d like to eat, and you’ll be treated to an exclusive Broadsheet Table menu, extra service touches and a few surprises along the way.
New restaurants are being added to Broadsheet Access constantly. Here’s what you can book now in Melbourne:
The Broadsheet Table at Poodle Bar and Bistro
This charming Fitzroy eatery is loved for its marble-laden downstairs bar, luxury snacks, French-inspired mains and a playful list of cocktails (Appletini, anyone?). Broadsheet has curated its top picks for your menu – highlights include delicate salmon caviar with seaweed madeleines and O’Connor rib eye with cafe de Poodle butter. End the night with the real star of the show: a dark chocolate and olive oil bomb alaska set on fire by Poodle’s head chef, exclusively available to Access members.
Book here until February 26.
The Broadsheet Table at Supernormal
Experience the Supernormal you know and love with a twist. Enjoy a sprightly seasonal cocktail on arrival before choosing your journey for the evening: a menu tour of the classics with dumplings, buns and bao or a limited-edition set menu of dishes informed by Asia, Europe and Australia. Once you’ve decided your path, Supernormal’s sommelier will design a drink pairing around the flavors of your chosen dishes. When the evening is over, you’ll get a Supernormal souvenir to take home.
Book here until February 22.
The Broadsheet Table at Nomad Melbourne
In November, this well-loved Sydney diner opened a second outpost in Flinders Lane. Chef Jacqui Challinor and her team are ready to show you what Nomad is all about with an exclusive set menu served personally by the chef. You’ll be seated at the kitchen counter – the best spot in the house to see the chef at work – and enjoy matched wines served throughout your meal, guided by the sommelier.
Book here until March 11.
The Broadsheet Table at Society’s Lillian Terrace
Housed in the lavish 80 Collins Precinct, the Lillian Terrace is Society’s more casual sister restaurant. At the Broadsheet Table, you’ll get an Access only rendition of venues. Enjoy a cocktail direct from Society and an exclusive tasting menu. Dessert is an event of its own – you’ll be served Society’s signature dish, Metropolis, alongside the sommelier’s selection of wines. End the night with a tour of Society’s kitchen and an introduction to the chef.
Book here until February 26.
The Broadsheet Table is exclusive to Broadsheet Access, our new membership program. Access brings you the very best of your city, all year round.
