Marvin is often shy at first, but once he gets used to his surroundings, he is quite confident. What will help Marvin thrive in his new home is a schedule. He likes to eat at the same time, every day – consistency is the key!
He enjoys lying around with his people and will sleep with you at night. He loves that you pat him and will give you gentle pats with his paws if you stop patting him before he is ready for you to stop.
Marvin prefers that every door between you and him stays open so he can always be with you. If he does not follow you around, he has fainted huddled over something comfortable.
As a senior, Marvin would prefer a quiet and peaceful environment to relax in. He has not lived with other cats, children or dogs and may prefer it that way. But he would love an eternal family that is at home most of the day – a single person or a household with multiple people. The more people there are, the more love and attention Marvin gets.
The best thing about his older boyfriend is that he is always ready for hugs. Marvin will definitely bring tons of love into his new eternal home.
