Nine people were killed and several injured after a six-car accident in north Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m. local time Saturday after police say a Dodge Challenger driving at a “high speed” blew through a red light and collided with several other vehicles at an intersection, the North Las Vegas Public said. Information Officer Alexander Cuevas said at a news conference.
Cuevas said at least 15 people were involved in the crash.

Those killed vary in age from young children to middle-aged adults, police said.
The driver of the Dodge Dart is among the dead.
Police say there is currently no suspicion that drugs or alcohol are a cause of the collision.
