Missing baby who was inside a stolen car found in good condition in Philadelphia – NBC10 Philadelphia

A missing little boy who was inside a car stolen in Philadelphia was found safe and sound Saturday night.

Police said a woman left her neon blue 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage driving with the keys inside as she walked into a 2400-block store off North 33rd Street around 6 p.m. 19 Saturday. Her 1-year-old child and 4-year-old child were both inside the vehicle when an unidentified suspect got into the car and drove off.

The woman called the police. Responding officers then found the 4-year-old child walking barefoot in the snow five to ten minutes later on the 3300 block of West Huntingdon Street a few blocks away. The child was brought to St. Christopher’s Hospital for observation, but was not injured. He was reunited with his mother.

An Amber Alert was issued for the missing 1-year-old child. The baby was later found safe in the back seat of the Mitsubishi Mirage on the 2800 block of Huntingdon Street. Police said the vehicle was still driving and that the child was not injured.

Police are still looking for the suspect who initially stole the car.
