A stretch of the M5 has reopened following a crash involving a pedestrian in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on the M5 northbound between Junction 21 A370 (Weston SuperMare) and Junction 20 B3133 Ettlingen Way (Clevedon) at just after midnight.
Emergency services have been on the scene throughout the night.

The M5 northbound remained closed for several hours while investigations were carried out.
The motorway opened at just before 8am today (Monday, January 31)
In a tweet National Highways South West said: “The closure has now been removed and all lanes are now running.
“Thanks for your patience.”
Although the motorway has re-opened there are delays on surrounding roads including the A370.
