NYPD reports that Kevin Cuatlacuatl is charged with fatal stabbing outside NYC restaurant

A 19-year-old man was arrested Sunday after allegedly stabbing a 22-year-old victim to death during a major brawl outside a Bay Ridge restaurant, police said.

Kevin Cuatlacuatl was charged with murder for the fatal stabbing in front of Catrina’s Mexican Grill on 3rd Avenue around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, which left Anthony Donofrio dead, police said.

Donofrio had been stabbed in the chest and another 22-year-old man was also found at the scene with a concussion in his head, authorities say.

The surviving victim was admitted to the hospital in stable condition.

It was unclear what triggered the controversy that led to the fatal stabbing.
